The active bass loudspeakers BASIS 11K, BASIS 13K and BASIS 14K serve as complement for the lower octave of our active studio monitors and as central bass unit in stereo reproduction. Furthermore, the subwoofers can be operated with suitable AV receivers to also allow optimal cooperation with our passive high-end loudspeakers.

Musikelectronic geithain expanded with the launch of the reference speaker ME 803K and ME 803KS its latest range of high performance coaxial driver. The new high-performance systems set sound and technology standards for both studio application and home audio. The experience from three decades of loudspeaker making was incorporated into the development of these products, applying well-proven and consequently refined solutions such as our MCDS Coax (Minimum Colouration Directivity Steering Coax) and our K Technology. Top-level quality is guaranteed due to complete fabrication in our Saxon manufacture.

Musikelectronic Geithain’s product range of passive home loudspeakers allows integrating the unique sound image of our active loudspeakers into an existing hi-fi concept. The ME 160 3-way coaxial loudspeaker has been optimised for the reproduction of sound events in acoustically less attenuated living rooms. Interfering reflections on floor and ceiling surfaces often result in a diffuse and less precise sound image. The passive floorstanding loudspeaker avoids this problem thanks to its vertical directionality in the mid and treble ranges. This radiation characteristic is achieved with a special geometric arrangement of the loudspeaker systems.
